Helping You Serve Today’s Communities
Your communities are already diverse. We deliver the specialist training and consultancy you need.
One practice, three ways in
For teams who want to deliver genuinely inclusive care — to diaspora, refugee and community language populations — and for public sector and third sector organisations, including local authorities, health boards, police and charities, building equality, diversity and inclusion programmes with real depth.
Publications, apps and services for speakers of minority and community languages — the everyday tools that speakers of the big international languages take for granted. We build from inside the community, not by translating from English and hoping the seams do not show.
Reaching your audiences in a fragmented media landscape, from someone who has worked on the other side of it. We help public sector and third sector organisations say what they mean, to the people who need to hear it, drawing on three decades in broadcast, print and online journalism and media production.
Why We Do What We Do
Scotland fielded its first black footballer in 1881. It has been multilingual and multifaith for far longer than that. The diversity is not new — what is new is the expectation that public services, employers and charities will meet it with something better than good intentions. We bring the insight and the practical thinking to get your organisation in tune with the many faces of modern Scotland, and we are candid about what works and what does not.
Advisory Note About Use of ImagesWe value the confidentiality of those we work for. In order to help preserve the privacy of those whom we have worked with, we make use of licenced stock images, as well as pictures which have been edited. This includes stock images which illustrate activities, as well as blurring or altering photos to change presentation slides or backgrounds.
